The Radio Broadcasting program at Fanshawe College is one of the best in Ontario. With three stations, two internal to the school and one fully functional, licensed by the CRTC radio station, students get two years worth of hands on experience and knowledge. Specializing in sales, on-air announcing and writing, Vere was responsible for selling commercial air time to local businesses, writing copy for client commercials as well as being the writing coordinator for the year which required following up on assignments, submissions and deadlines. As an announcer she was responsible for daily show prep and research and being able to perform in all day parts with a variety of formats such as country, rock, pop and hip-hop/R&B.
